MySQL does not support --network host, which causes users restricted by IP to be unable to log in

I would like to ask if there is any configuration that allows users to log in and still obtain their real IP. Currently, all detected users appear to be using internal IPs (e.g., {user}@172.20.xxx.xxx). Since I have restricted certain users to specific IPs, setting % would allow logins from anywhere. Does anyone have a good solution for this?
